The organizers knew exactly what the 2020 edition of Oghu Ozioma Worhip would be like after several days and nights of planning. For that, they shifted the venue from the Ahiama dancing arena to a more spacious and standard venue. State Primary School Umuele Amazano played host for the big event which had ben judged as the best by so far by Umuaka Times.<\/p>\n

A day before the event, Mr. Ozioma Worship, a chieftain of APC in the state and a close associate of Hope Uzodimma, the current chief occupant f Government House Owerri and the brain behind the big cultural show, confirmed to Umuaka Times that he had consulted 17 \u201crain stoppers\u201d in and outside Umuaka to ensure\u00a0 a rain-free day. On the day of the historic event, there was no single drop of rain in the entire Umuaka town. Kudos to the rain stoppers and makers.<\/p>\n

Umuele, the host community which has a historical integrity for her proper organization and execution of oghu events over the ages was never in short supply of great oghu dancers. They brought out their \u201cbest eleven\u201d to compete with other great dancers from other\u00a0 parts of Umuaka that thrilled the guests with their superlative dancing skills. One of the major attractions at the event was a little boy of less than 3 years who was properly dressed for the dance by his dad. He was always following his dad Derry to the arena anytime it was his dad\u2019s turn to dance. His dad who emerged the oghu dancing champion in the entire Umuaka Ebe Iri last year really wanted the boy to learn the skills of dancing from early age but the boy was too shy or afraid to dance. Any time it was the turn of the Derry Jr to dance, he would go round the entire arena, making everyone to believe that he was preparing to dance but stylishly go to his seat and sit down. The entire audience would then burst into a big laughter. When Umuaka Times wanted to take photograph of the boy, he would run away and cry.<\/p>\n

The event as expected turned out to be \u201cwho is who\u201d in the state as those who pilot the affairs of the Njaba LGA and the State were all present. At the end of the event, Mr Ozioma Worship who was full of joy had to specially greet personalities like His Royal Highness Eze\u00a0 Caesar Duruegbusuo.<\/p>\n
