Lolo Angela Ikeme, the Executive Provost of Merit School of Nursing Sciences dropped this hint in an exclusive interview with Umuaka Times during the matriculation program of the college held last week in Umuowa Imo State.<\/p>\n<p>While answering questions from Umuaka Times reporters who covered the event, Lolo Ikeme acknowledged that years back, the nursing profession was regarded as women\u2019s affair. \u201cTraditionally, it has been for the women alone but now men are finding out that they too can tap into the profession as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On her reasons for encouraging men to go into nursing, Lolo Ikeme disclosed that nurses usually get jobs after their intensive trainings. She also further stated that the presence of men in the nursing profession brings diversity.
