The first and officially recognized bus stop has been approved in Umuaka town precisely in Achara community By Njaba South Development Centre.<\/p>\n

The bus stop which is named after a high profile hotel in Umuaka known as Hotel Plano is named after the hotel itself.
\nLocated at Kilometer 10 at number 1 Umudim Road Achara town, the bus stop is situated in front of the famous Achara Hall.<\/p>\n

For the younger Akalites who have no information about Achara Hall, it was in the 80s and early 90s that the hall played host to a lot of social activities in Umuaka especially during December periods. Someone described it as the biggest \u201cnight club\u201d in town in those years of active youth activities in Umuaka.<\/p>\n

Hotel Plano is located at the back of Achara Hall while the bus stop which is known as Hotel Plano Bus Stop is in front of Achara Hall.<\/p>\n

The Hotel Plano bus stop is built in form of small house which can give people shelter during the heat of the sun or protect them from being wet when it rains.<\/p>\n

It is expected that many other communities will start similar projects as Hotel Plano has set the pace.<\/p>\n
