Eze Ozoano of Amazano HRH Eze Caesar Duruegbusuo, last week hosted the members of Proactive Diamond Club of Nigeria to a lavish party in his palace in Umuuele. The opportunity to host the club was occasioned by the death and burial of the late Mrs Concepta Iwuoha who was buried a couple of days ago in Uba. Umuaka Times learnt that the late Concepta Iwuoha who until her death was a member of Diamond Club alongside with her husband.<\/p>\n

The royal father who is also the patron of the club used the opportunity to thank all the members of the club for their courage and sacrifices so far made to uphold what the club stands for. He specifically thanked those who came as far as from Lagos to attend the burial despite their busy schedules. He encouraged the club members to always be their brothers\u2019 keepers and do anything they can to lift the name of the community and the club.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the speech by the royal father, the president of the club Mr Chidi Iwuoha whose elder brother\u2019s wife Mrs\u00a0 Concepta Iwuoha was buried a couple of days ago, thanked the\u00a0 royal father for his kind gesture and went ahead to also thank the members of Diamond Club who came and stood by the side of the Iwuoha family during the burial. He prayed that God will continue to bless the members of the club and their families.<\/p>\n

In his conclusion, the president asked the patron, HRH Eze Caesar to choose any date during the Christmas period for the Diamond Club to spend an evening with him.<\/p>\n

President Iwuoha promised that he would use his good office to make the Christmas gathering of the club memorable. At the end of his speech, he pledged to support the Christmas party of Diamond Club with the sum of N300, 000.<\/p>\n

The highest point of the event was when Chief Engr Emmanuel Igbokwuwe, a.k.a Nwokeoji, suddenly breezed into the palace. His presence sparked off a loud ovation. According to the top NNPC engineer, he came to see his in-laws, the Iwudikes and decided to greet the royal father before taking his leave.<\/p>\n

Chief Igbokwuwe described the palace as his second home.<\/p>\n
