A US based businessman and illustrious son of Umuaka, Mr Alex Obioma Agbaere has opened an indomie noodles distribution depot in Umuaka town. The distributorship which came under the company name of La Agaus Trading and Investment Limited which is owned by Mr Alex Obioma Agbaere who hails from Acharaji Akah Autonomous Community has already begun operations since January 2024.<\/p>\n

By the time the local affairs correspondents of Umuaka Times visited the depot last week which is located before Emegharaibe Filling Station while coming from Afor Umuaka, the reporters noticed plenty cartons of Indomie Instant Noodles properly arranged for onward distribution and sales. The depot has already employed four workers and the business has fully kicked off from the first month of 2024.<\/p>\n

Inquiries made by Umuaka Times also disclosed that Mr Alex Obioma Agbaere equally has a rice depot called La Agaus Rice Depot at the same building. The rice depot takes its deliveries from Abakilike courtesy of La Agaus Rice Farms, a member of La Agaus Trading and Investment Limited.<\/p>\n

A few customers of the company who had the opportunity to speak with Umuaka Times during the visit saw the location and localization of the firm in Umuaka as a big economic and risk relief for them and others who are in the business of indomie noodles. A buyer who simply gave her name as Chioma expressed deep joy that the trauma of going to Owerri from Ekwe to buy noodles has dramatically come to an end. She thanked Mr Obioma Agbaere for his foresight and economic vision for the people of Njaba, Isu LGAs and Orlu in general.<\/p>\n

Indomie Instant Noodles is a product of Dufil Prima Foods Ltd, a household name in the fast food business in Nigeria. The company has a wide range of indomie noodles and brands in various packages and prices.<\/p>\n

Those who want to buy large quantities of the product have so far been advised to do the purchasing in Umuaka as a sharp and beneficial alternative. As the only major distributor in Orlu, La Agaus Trading and Investment Limited sells at cheaper prices.<\/p>\n
