According to him, his son who is an associate professor at the same university he bagged a doctorate degree from has made Ndi Igbo and Nigeria proud. As he was happily celebrating and sharing the good news last week, his wife, Lolo Veronica Chika Ikwubuo, the Ugo Eji Aga Mba 1 was also doing the same in faraway United States. She was present during the presentation of the award of doctorate degree at the premises of the Ohio State University last week.<\/p>\n<p>Ob behalf of his wife, High Chief Ikwubuo who is also an honorary doctorate degree awardee and a former local government chairman, in his message to Umuaka Times first thanked God for the gift of life and good health for his immediate family members and the entire Ikwubuo family both in Nigeria and in diaspora.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14927\" src=\"http:\/\/umuakatimes.com\/topnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG_20240428_070117.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"754\" srcset=\"https:\/\/umuakatimes.com\/topnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG_20240428_070117.jpg 600w, https:\/\/umuakatimes.com\/topnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/IMG_20240428_070117-239x300.jpg 239w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The couple thanked God once again for protecting their son and leading him successfully on the bumpy road to academic excellence. They also thanked all the persons, both in Nigeria and outside who contributed in one way or another towards the academic excellence Dr Melvin Ikwubuo Has recorded for himself and
