The founder and president of Umuaka Charity Foundation Mazi Iwuaku Iwuchukwu has disclosed his intention to establish Umuaka National Library as his own contribution towards the return of academic education and reading culture in Umuaka Municipal Council.<\/p>\n
This message was contained in his birthday message to Akalites as a part of activities lined up to mark his 2025 birthday celebrations.<\/p>\n
Mazi Iwuaku Iwuchukwu whose passion for positive developments in Umuaka is limitless disclosed this to Umuaka Times in a birthday message he sent to the newspaper last week.<\/p>\n
It can be recalled that the empowerment program by Umuaka Charity Foundation which is still ongoing is a brainchild of Mazi Iwuchukwu, a hotelier and a businessman.<\/p>\n
As a part of his birthday programs, Mazi Iwuaku Iwuchukwu who has no interest in obtaining chieftaincy titles from anywhere in Nigeria also made a donation of N1 million to Umuaka Charity Foundation. It can be recalled that Iwuchukwu made a promise two years ago that every year he would donate the sum of N1 million Naira to Umuaka Charity Foundation to celebrate his birthday.<\/p>\n
Concerning the Umuaka National Library, Iwuchukwu is already holding talks with some Akalites on where to site the library and the strategy to follow. Already, Omee Plaza at Afor Umuaka seems to be the most suitable property seen so far to house the project.<\/p>\n
As at press time last week, many Akalites and other people from other parts of the world had sent their birthday greetings to the man whose love to his community is almost 100 percent.<\/p>\n
