Last week, an American woman named Stacy Wales successfully demonstrated this feat with her husband as they created an AI version of her murdered brother during the sentencing of the person who stood trial for the murder in the state of Arizona USA. Stacey Wales played the AI-generated video of her brother as a victim impact statement during the sentencing of his killer in an Arizona court.<\/p>\n

According to CNN, MrPelkey (the victim) was the youngest of three children, a veteran and, according to Wales, \u201cthe most forgiving and the friendliest\u201d member of the family. He was killed in November 2021 in Chandler, Arizona at the age of 37. Other sources confirmed by Umuaka Times correspondents in America showed that during the trial Pelkey\u2019s autopsy photos and video clips of his death were presented and shown in court. From available evidence the murderer, Horcasitas was found guilty of reckless manslaughter.<\/p>\n

Wales and her husband who knew the victim very well during his lifetime wanted to demonstrate what Pelkey, the victim would have said if he were to be in court. The couple did the impossible by bringing Pelkey back to \u201clife\u201d via AI.<\/p>\n

The duo who works with tech firms disclosed that they had previously created the AI versions of several CEOs and took them to international conferences where they presented some talks immediately began the processWith that idea, the couple created an AI version of the late Christopher Pelkey who appeared in court in his real shape, form and voice and spoke emotionally to the amazement and pains of the court.In order not to scare people and those who knew the victim while alive, the AI version in his opening speech said, \u201cI am a version of Chris Pelkey re-created through AI.\u201d<\/p>\n

The world stood still over this feat when the news hit the internet and other media outlets. The generated AI version of Chris Pelkey has consequently sparked up a clamour for AI firms to start creating the AI versions of dead celebrities and dead family members and friends.<\/p>\n

During the research for this story, a secondary school teacher who did not want her name mentioned told Umuaka Times last week that she wished that the technology could reach all corners of the world so that she can get an AI version of her twin sister who died in a motoring accident some years ago. \u201cFrom the day I lost my twin sister in a road accident, I have never been myself, I would be very happy to have an AI version of her.\u201d<\/p>\n
