Chijioke Eguzozie, the Principal, staff &amp; students of Girls Technical Secondary School Umuaka, teachers &amp; students of invited Schools, members of the New Umuaka Project-initiative present, distinguished ladies and gentlemen. It is my privilege and honour to welcome you to this program today. I wish to thank you for honoring our invitation to participate in this Pet Project. We are delighted to have you all with us here today.<\/p>\n<p>Skills acquisition is a type of learning in which repetition results in enduring changes in an individual\u2019s capability to perform a specific task is harnessed and developed in areas such as; bead making, hair dressing, baking, soap making and many more. The state is currently at its peak, I mean, that the government is not really doing well as they ought to, though, they are trying their best possible to make sure employment is being provided for the youths but for the time being, the government has not been able to fully perform this task, and that is why we deem it fit to do a project on this particular area of skill learning so as to enable youths become entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4478\" src=\"http:\/\/umuakatimes.com\/topnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/18.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"544\" height=\"964\" srcset=\"https:\/\/umuakatimes.com\/topnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/18.png 544w, https:\/\/umuakatimes.com\/topnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/18-169x300.png 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 544px) 100vw, 544px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It may interest you to know that Skill Acquisition and entrepreneurship can alleviate poverty, reduce the high rate of unemployment and crime in the society.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We intend to carry out this task to enlighten our young female youths on how to become independent, successful, and outstanding entrepreneurs by teaching pastry making, cake baking, liquid soap, sanitizer, perfume, bleach etc.<\/p>\n<p>I therefore enjoin you, my dear sisters to listen very attentively when the lectures begin so that you can learn and be able to teach others after this program. I want to thank in a very special way the New Umuaka Project -initiative family led by Dr Austin Agbahiwe for approving and sponsoring this program.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you all for being here with us today.
