The charity works of the famous Emelong Foundation, a community based organization CBO, based in Umuaka Njaba LGA Imo State has continued to record meaningful strides. A couple of days ago, the CBO took its activities to Orlu where it empowered Mr Arthur Munachiso Onyenuforo in his small poultry business. Arthur, a 200 level building engineering student of Imo State Polytechnics was involved in a motor accident about two years ago which seriously altered his academic program. In the accident, Arthur had one of his legs seriously damaged. Due to lack of funds, the affected leg started to decay and was gradually getting due for amputation.<\/p>\n

Someone had to inform Chief Emeka Ibegbulem, the founder of Emelong Foundation about the pitiable condition of the poor Arthur. From that time till date, the Emelong Foundation has been taking care of the medical and other bills of Arthur Munachiso Onyenuforo.<\/p>\n

As a hardworking fellow who hates to be a burden to anyone, Arthur started a small scale poultry business. By the time Umuaka Times visited his poultry farm in his home town, he had over 150 birds in his farm.<\/p>\n

It was this poultry business that Emelong Foundation went to support with some little cash. The foundation provided the sum of N40,000 to Arthur who received the cash gift in the presence of his mother and an elder female family member.<\/p>\n

While responding on behalf of the family Mrs Chinyere Onyenuforo, the mother of Arthur Onyenuforo thanked\u00a0 the foundation for all the help it has been extending to her son and asked God to continue to bless the foundation and its founder Chief Emeka Ibegbulem.<\/p>\n

The presentation was made by Mr Onyekachi Obilo, a high profile member of Emelong Foundation.<\/p>\n
