Umuaka Times gathered that during the construction of the road which drove the &#8220;motorcycle boys&#8221; away from the road for several months, most of them took to alternative roads in Umuaka Municipal Council and other areas to display their reckless driving and &#8220;over speeding skills&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>From Umuaka to Owerri, the road had been completely put in good shape and almost every evening, a good number of &#8220;motorcycle boys&#8221; comes out in the evening to engage on a special motorcycle racing while on top speed without any protective wears including crash helmets. There is a serious concern by some observers of the &#8220;motorcycle boys&#8221; about their recklessness on the new road. Sadly enough, the boys have not always been lucky on their motorcycles. There are reports of those who have fallen off their motorcycles and sustained heavy and life threatening injuries. Some who were not so lucky died in similar circumstances as well.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8658\" src=\"http:\/\/umuakatimes.com\/topnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IMG_20220319_234637.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"615\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/umuakatimes.com\/topnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IMG_20220319_234637.jpg 615w, https:\/\/umuakatimes.com\/topnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/IMG_20220319_234637-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A trip to Umuduruobi where bone fractures are treated in Orodo Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State, shows that &#8220;motorcycle boys&#8221; from Umuaka and other nearby communities constitute the regular &#8216;customers&#8221; for the bone doctors. The bone doctors themselves somehow, remain everlastingly grateful to the &#8220;motorcycle boys&#8221; for their consistency in putting food on their tables.<\/p>\n<p>Umuaka Times has already recorded some reports of some big falls by &#8220;motorcycle boys&#8221; on the new road. As usual, injuries were sustained during such falls.<\/p>\n<p>Umuaka Times uses this opportunities to warn parents and guardians to hold family meetings with their &#8220;motorcycle sons&#8221; on how to drive and stay alive.
