Chief Esomonu who lives in the United States first thanked his fellow Akalites, friends and colleagues who came all the way from the United States to mourn with the bereaved family. He further thanked his Amiyi community which was led by the royal father of the community, HRH Eze Francis Ahanotu to the burial ceremony.
Those who came from Port Harcourt, which included a royal father and some top politicians, were also given prominence in the appreciation message. In his own words, Chief Esomonu simply put it thus: “Umuaka Times, it will be impossible for me to remember all the people who came for this event. Look at the church group, community based groups, Ibele Council of Chiefs and many more others too numerous to mention, each of them did very well and we can’t thank them enough. It is only God that will pay them back for their sacrifices and love.”
In his conclusion, Chief Esomonu prayed to God to continue to guide and protect all the people who have shown deep love towards the family.
