78 Set of High School Umuaka mourns Jude Anyaibe.
2 min readThe 1978 set of Old Boys’ Association High School Umuaka (St Saviour’s College then) was among several organizations that came to pay their last respect to Ochasi Nna Nyereugo 1 of Umuaka, Chief Jude Anyaibe on Friday May 10, 2024 during the burial ceremonies of the late Chief Anyaibe.
Seated at the VIP canopy during the condolence visit, the group while addressing the bereaved family through her spokesman Dr Zimako O. Zimako, extolled the virtues of the late Anyaibe who was a member of the 78 set of former students of the great institution. According to him, the former student, Jude Anyaibe was one of the engine rooms of the association and based on that, most of their members flew in from far and wide to pay him their last respect.
Dr Zimako appealed to the family to bear the loss and prayed to God to continue to protect the entire Anyaibe family especially those left behind by their former student, Jude Anyaibe.
In order to support the family, the organization made a donation of over N500,000 as a part of the stipulations of her constitution when any member dies. While responding to the group, the leader of Anyaibe family Chief Chris Anyaibe, thanked the group and assured them that those left behind by the late former student who happened to be his younger brother will find solace in the Lord over his death. Present at the presentation were the wife of the late Chief Anyaibe, Ijeoma and her children.
