Mr Samuel Hitman Chimezie Akubueze has received a grant of more than N400,000 to facilitate and begin his boxing trainings as soon as possible. The grant was made available by an Umuaka born philanthropist in diaspora who does not want his name mentioned. Speaking with Umuaka Times correspondents in America, the philanthropist deeply expressed optimism in the talents of Samuel Hitman after watching the maiden edition of a video documentary on the upcoming strongman from Obinwanne.

“I was totally impressed after I had watched his videos. He is indeed very strong and he can go places. Be it wrestling, boxing, kick-boxing or UFC, Hitman will do wonders,” the philanthropist told Umuaka Times last week.

The philanthropist used the opportunity and called upon other Akalites both in and outside the country to do their best and invest in human capital development on young Akalites. He specifically thanked Umuaka Times and Umuaka Charity Foundation for all their activities in Umuaka towards the downtrodden and others.

While reacting to the grant, the 23 year old Samuel Hitman who was full of joy thanked the philanthropist for his kind donation. He expressed surprise that the philanthropist who has never known or seen him before could donate such a whopping amount of money to support him. He prayed to God to bless the donor and assured him and other Akalites that he would not disappoint them. The management of the young boxer last week confirmed the receipt of the money.
