Lolo Eunice Anugoh for burial on January 3, 2025 .

The family of Late Chief Edward Eze Anugoh (popularly known as Dr Hoha) of Umuonyiriegbe Amaeze Amurie Omanze in Isu LGA Imo State has announced the passage of the matriarch of the Anugoh dynasty, the late Lolo Nneoma Nwere Ugo Eunice Mgbobia Anugoh (nee Nnamuka Ezeala). The announcement was contained in a press statement issued by High Chief Eddyson Anugoh (Ugwumba), a barrister at law and one of the children of the late Nneoma Nwere Ugo Eunice Mgbobia Anugoh. Umuaka Times correspondents gathered that the arrangements for the burial rites of the nonagenarian Catholic Christian mother have been perfected to hold as follows:

Order: On Thursday January 2nd 2025, a wake-keep and service of songs will be held for the repose of the soul of the late Lolo Eunice Anugoh. The wake-keep and service of songs will begin by 7pm at the country of High Chief Eddyson Anugoh (Ugwumba).

On Friday January 3rd 2025, the remains of the deceased will leave the mortuary of the Joint Hospital Amaigbo in Nwangele LGA Imo State in a motorcade. By 7:40 am, the motorcade will observe a stopover at her home (Nnamuka Ezeala) and Chukwujiekwu Palace of HRM Eze Justin Ezeala of Obinwanne Umuaka Autonomous Community Njaba LGA.

BY 8:30 am, the body departs to the country home of High Chief Ugwumba in Amaeze Amurie Omanze for lying in state.

A requiem Mass which has been factored in the rites of passage of the late Lolo Eunice Anugo will be held at St Theresa’s Catholic Church Amurie Omanze. The Mass will take off by 10 am.

Interment will follow immediately after the requiem Mass at Ugwumba’s country home.

By 1 pm, several aspects of entertainment and receptions at the spacious Community Primary School Amurie Omanze will begin with several high profile individuals, royal fathers, members of the bench and bar in Nigeria, medical doctors, businessmen, top government officials and several Nigerians in diaspora in attendance. On Sunday 5th January 2025, a thanksgiving service will be held for a life well spent in honour of the deceased at St Theresa’s Catholic Church Amurie Omanze.

From what Umuaka Times gathered last week, the late Lolo Nneoma Nwere Ugo Eunice Mgbobia Anugoh was a divot Christian mother who dedicated her life to the services of God. She was aged 92 years.

Umuaka Times has been named as the official newspaper of the celebration of the life of the Nneoma Nwere Ugo Eunice Anugoh.
