The burial of the remains of late Amurie Omanze born top community leader and Catholic faithful, Mr. Cajethan Orisakwe will be buried on Friday December 2024 in his Ndiuhu Amurie community in Isu LGA of Imo State.
This information was contained in a message Umuaka Times obtained from one of the family sources when the newspaper called on the family last week.
The newspaper gathered that several events and activities have been lined up in order to give a befitting burial to the late gentleman. On Thursday December 19, 2024, there will be a wake-keep and service of songs in the compound of the deceased by Christians and community members in his residence in Ndiuhu Amurie Omanze.
The following day being Friday 20 December 2024, body lies in state after arrival from the mortuary in a motorcade. A requiem Mass has been fixed to hold for the repose of the soul of the deceased at St Theresa Catholic Church Amurie Omanze by 10 am.
By 12 mid-day, the body of the late Mr. Cajethan will be interred in the family compound. Reception of guests will follow immediately.
Thanksgiving Mass holds on Sunday 22 December 2024 at St Theresa’s Catholic Church Amurie Omanze.
