Umuezealaoma kinsmen worried over poor grading of road.

The kinsmen and youths of Umuezealaoma community of Achara have strongly condemned the poor grading of some roads in the community by yet to be disclosed government agents. Local affairs correspondents of Umuaka Times who paid an official visit to the roads in question on Saturday 21 December 2024 confirmed that the poor state of the road was still intact as if nothing had happened on the road. Chief Oluchi Nwanarado who took Umuaka Times on an official inspection of the road could not hide his feelings over the state of the road. He simply described it as totally poor.
Another kinsman who described himself as a stakeholder in the community, Mr Asikaogu condemned the work and wondered what the contractors and their cronies wanted to achieve. “You see, the people who claimed that they have upgraded this road never dropped any trip of sand on any part of the road. Then tell me how you can achieve success in road grading without bringing in some trips of sand.”
Mr Asikaogu finally called on the people who executed the work to revisit the project or the Umuezealaoma community would take a drastic action to bring those involved to book.
