Eze Justin Ezeala collects Umuaka Times award, fulfills empowerment promises.

Yesterday being Saturday 21 December 2024 was a great day the people of Umuaka Municipal Council otherwise known as Umuaka Ebe Iri will not be in a hurry to forget. On this eventful day, the royal father of Obinwanne Umuaka Autonomous Community HRM Eze Justin Uzoma Ezeala arrived his Chukwujiekwu Palace on time to commence the activities and programs waiting for his attention.
First, the Obinwanne monarch carried out the empowerment programs for the selected needy in the entire Umuaka Municipal Council. After the empowerment, two projects were commissioned by the chairman of Njaba LGA Chief Vitalis Obi. The projects were a new transformer which cost over N15 million mounted in front of Unity Primary School Obinwanne and an ultra-modern civic centre.
After the commissioning of the projects, the Obinwanne Council of Chiefs and other stakeholders who watched the commissioning went back to the Chukwujiekwu Palace to continue the day’s activities.
There was also a presentation of an award which the Obinwanne monarch has won. The award came from Umuaka Times newspapers which was named Imo State Royal Father of the Year, was on this particular day presented to the royal father for the fourth time. A one-time commissioner in the state Chief Louis Duru was the presenter of the award.
By the end of the event, many people came one after the other to thank and greet the quintessential royal father.
