Livy Madu mourns Ezinne Christiana Okoro Ikegwuoha.
2 min readUS based Akalite, high profile chief from Umuele Amazano and a renowned educationist, Chief Livy Madu, the Ikpa Ahuru Dike the third of Umuele has been mourning the death of Ezinne Christiana C. Okoro Ikegwuoha whose remains were committed to mother earth on Wednesday 22 January 2025 in her hometown Ndiuhu Uba Umuaka.
Chief Madu who spoke with the American correspondents of Umuaka Times from his base in the United States lamented that the late Christiana, mother and ezinne was his only biological sister. He described her death as a permanent emotional pain not only for him but to the entire Madu family of Umuele Amazano.
While writing a tribute to his only sister whom he described as Adanne and Dede, Chief Livy Madu wrote. “Adanne, the mother we cherished so much. It was a very bad news for me to accept which seemed like a mirage. But when I came in December 2024 and visited your house, the absence of your welcoming voice, running to me to give me a warm embrace, brought the reality that you are no more to me which was and is still very difficult for me to take.”
While concluding his tribute, Chief Madu also lamented thus, “Nonetheless, we accept that reality with a very teary eyes and broken hearts for we cannot question the creator.”
Chief Livy Madu who is the younger brother of the deceased, also used the opportunity to thank all those who took part during the burial ceremonies of his late sister. He prayed to God to continue to protect and provide for the families left behind by the late Ezinne Christiana C. Okoro Ikegwuoha.
