The events that greeted the final burial rites of the late Chief Cyril Obioha, a man with multiple chieftaincy titles started on the night of Friday 26 December 2025 when family, friends and the youths of Ibele community gathered and held a wake night for the repose of the man who was known as Ezekwesiri 1, Agunaechemba 1 and Agugoeshi the second of Ibele Kingdom. The following day being 27 December 2025, family and friends had gathered at the ancestral home of the deceased to pay their last tribute to the high profile community leader who had come and played his role which spanned for a period of 92 years.

The final rites of passage events began by 1 pm when the people of Okwudor Ibele gathered at the compound of the deceased. The master of the ceremony took the microphone and greeted everyone present and disclosed how the event was going to be held. After the normal greetings, an opening prayer followed. Next was the presentation of kola nuts which was also blessed and shared among the guests in all canopies.
A funeral oration on the life and times of the late Agugoeshi took centre stage as the MC read it to the hearing of everyone.

Umuaka Times gathered that some groups like umuada, Okwudor Ibele general assembly; Klubb88 and the Great 91 were adequately represented during the burial ceremonies. There were people who came from far areas like Mbaise to grace the occasion.
Umuaka Times reliably gathered that the events marking the burial of the late Cyril Obioha included some side attractions as the burial went on. Top among the side attractions was the oghu dance. By the time the oghu was going on, many people came to watch the dancers who really trilled the audience of mourners to the best of their abilities.
Around 2 pm, more people had gathered and more vehicles too. Prince Emeka Obioha and his younger brother Ik were seen moving from one corner to another in order to make sure that the program went on as planned. Prince Obioha(Ozo) is a member of Klubb88 and Ik is a member of Great 91. Both are old boys associations of those who graduated from High School Umuaka in 1988 and 1991 respectively.
