NUPI queens hold pet projects in Umuaka.

The five girls who emerged as beauty queens in different categories in Umuaka last December have commenced their pet projects. The project manager of the organizing committee for the pet projects Mr Chimnemezu Nwaeze Vinepaul told Umuaka Times the project was intended “to enlighten our young female youths on how to become independent, successful, and outstanding entrepreneurs by teaching pastry making, cake baking, liquid soap, sanitizer, perfume, bleach etc to them.”
The event which was held last week took place at the banquet hall of Girls Secondary Technical School Umuaka. The importance of entrepreneurship, creativity and self reliance was properly emphasized during the course.
Several students who spoke at the event expressed their sincere gratitude to NUPI for remembering them at this critical time. The program met its target objectives Umuaka Times learnt.
