Amiyi not informed about any meeting: Eze Iyi.

The Royal Father and the traditional ruler of Amiyi Umuaka Autonomous Community, Eze Barrister Francis Ahanotu has explained why Amiyi community was not represented at the emergency meeting held at the palace of HRH, Eze Caesar Duruegbususo a week ago. It can be recalled that few days before the meeting was called, Umuaka Times Institute, the whatsapp group of Umuaka Times newspaper reported as breaking news, the little crisis at the premises of Umuaka Community Hospital which led to the locking up of the hospital by some boys suspected to be Amiyi youths.
In a brief whatsapp interview with the royal father, Eze Ahanotu told Umuaka Times that the failure of Amiyi community to send representatives to the meeting was not deliberate. According to him, “nobody informed us about the meeting.”
The royal father who also claimed that he as the leader of the community was not aware of the meeting equally said that none of his subjects was aware too.
The royal father was reacting to the interview granted to Umuaka Times by Eze Caesar Duruegbusuo, the traditional ruler of Umuele Amazano community and the chairman of Umuaka Council of Ndi Eze immediately after the meeting where he said that only Amiyi was absent at the meeting. Umuaka Times had to dig further more to find out why Amiyi community never attended the meeting. Despite the absence of Amiyi representatives, each village in Umuaka was represented at the meeting and Umuaka Times was there to cover the event.
