Agunechemba, Ihenacho donate 50 bags of cement for Obinwanne road repairs.

The youths of Obinwanne Umuaka Autonomous Community last week embarked on aggressive road repairs on some of the major roads in the community. For some time now, the Obinwanne link road otherwise known as Ezeala Road which starts from the White House junction and ends at Ekeala Amurie in Isu LGA has been the only access road used by commuters and others while avoiding the Umuaka Amaigbo Road that is seriously in bad shape.
Umuaka Times reporters gathered that the road repairs were facilitated by two illustrious sons and high profile politicians in Njaba LGA, Hon. Eddy Ikwubuo and Hon Emeka Ihenacho. The two politicians were one time Njaba LGA chairman respectively.
Highly dependable sources that spoke with Umuaka Times last week confirmed that Hon Emeka Ihenacho who is contesting for the office of Njaba LGA chairman, donated 30 bags of cement while Hon Eddy Ikwubuo, the Agunachemba Njaba who is contesting for Umuaka Ward 1 councillorship donated 20 bags.
When Umuaka Times visited Obinwanne community last week during the time of the road repairs, several youths were seen mixing the cement with sand and others were sand-filling the potholes on the road with the mixed cement.
An APC chieftain who spoke to Umuaka Times in the person of Hon Kingsley Obi Odoemenam, thanked the politicians for their donations for the project. He used the opportunity and appealed to the authorities in Njaba LGA to do their best and fix the roads in the local council especially in this raining season.
