Another beauty pageant has been scheduled to hold today in Umuaka. The event which kicks off by exactly 10:am today being 29 December 2020, at National School Ugbele is being organized by a group known as Akah-City Youth Initiative.
The show which promises to be the mother of all shows in the community will carry along both males and female models to take part in the pageant. When Umuaka Times interviewed Prince Ebuka Duru and Prince Ukonu, the youthful Akalites behind the organization, they told the newspaper that the organization has been given an approval by Imo State Government.
The event which starts today is going to last for three days featuring different segments like parade around Akahland, talk show, dancing and poetry presentation. The event closes by 10 pm today.
The second day, the event starts by 12 midday with performances by artistes from Umuaka, talent hunt and dance presentations as well as talk show. It closes by 10 pm.
On the 31 night which will be the final trophy night, there will be performances e.t.c and at last, the winners of the beauty pageant will be announced. The event will start by 8 pm and end by mid night.
