BREAKING NEWS: Famous teacher, Miss Duruigbo dies at 101.

Lady Josephine Nwaulari Duruigbo, (aka Miss Duruigbo), a dedicated and well known retired teacher from Uba Umuaka has gone to be with the Lord. Lady J N Duruigbo, an educationist, was one of the few girls whose parents sent to school in the early days of Western education in Igboland. She was among those who harvested the undiluted academic benefits from the early British teachers when schooling was highly rated in top standards. She retired from active teaching service, some decades ago.
According to a press statement released by the family, the retired teacher peacefully passed on in her sleep recently.
When Umuaka Times called on one of her children, a Lagos based lawyer and the principal partner Ducex Solicitors, Barrister Emma Duruigbo over the arrangement and programs slated to mark the burial of the late Durugbo, the Attorney confirmed to Umuaka Times that the family is working with some concerned parties including the Catholic Church in the community to ensure a hitch-free funeral for the amazing Amazon.
Also from the press statement the barrister made available to Umuaka Times, the famous teacher would be buried on January 4, 2021 in the Duruigbo ancestral home in Uba Umuaka of Njaba LGA Imo State.
