 “Chairman” Cyriacus Meremikwu’s burial fixed on May 24.

The burial of Mr late Cyriacus Ifeanyichukwu Meremikwu popularly known as Chairman has been fixed on Friday May 24, 2024 in his home town, Amakor Autonomous Community Njaba LGA Imo State.

From a press statement which was issued and signed last week by Chief Vitalis Meremikwu, a member of the family and an elder brother to the deceased, a Christian wakes night and service of songs have been fixed on Thursday 23 May 2024 at the compound of the deceased in Okwu Okwuama Ndeziama Amakor. The wake keep, according to the press statement which was made available to Umuaka Times will begin by 7 pm.

On the following day being Friday May 24, which is the burial day, the remains of the Mr Chairman will leave the mortuary of Umuaka Community Hospital by 7:30 am to his home town Amakor in a motorcade. Lying in state holds by 8 am in the compound of the deceased also in Amakor community.

The burial service which will be conducted by the Divine Power Deliverance Ministry of Isu Njaba will hold by 10 am in the same venue.

Internment of the deceased follows immediately by 1 pm in the compound.

The late Mr Cyriacus Ifeanyichukwu Meremikwu died on December 30, 2023 at the age of 60. Umuaka Times mourns with the entire Meremikwu family and the entire Akakor Autonomous Community of Njaba LGA Imo State.
