The Traditional Prime Minister of Obinwanne community, Chief Celestine Agu, the Ekwembiriba of Umuaka has described Chief Eddy Ikwubuo as a man who does things differently from how others do theirs. The Ekwembiriba made this disclosure during the final burial rites of the mother of Chief Ikwubuo, Lolo Roseline Ego-Oyibo Ikwubuo.
According to him, Chief Ikwubuo is a popular man in the state and he has a lot of VIP friends. “He did his best today to entertain his guests and friends in a big way. I hope you all saw the two limousines he brought to the church today in honour of his late mother. It is our prayers that her soul would rest in the bosom of Abraham.”
