Chief Raphael Duruji gives vote of thanks to his guests.

The Umuezikoha Uba born high profile Akalite, Chief Raphael Duruji who celebrated his birthday today has issued a vote of thanks to all the people who attended the event from the church service to the reception held in his honour in his family compound in Umuezikoha Uba Umuaka Njaba LGA Imo State. Speaking with Umuaka Times at the end of the event, Chief Duruji who just clocked 80 years of eventful years today being July 2, 2023 first thanked the Almighty God for giving him good and healthy life and protection. “I first of all give all the glories to God for all he has been doing for me and the entire Duruji family.”
Still on the vote of thanks, Chief Duruji thanked the members of Duruji family for their 100 percent support, especially his children and his siblings. He thanked the entire Umuonyiriegbe family union, Umuezikoha Council of Chiefs, the clubs he belongs to, his in-laws, his fellow chiefs in Uba Umuaka generally and the members of St Mary’s Catholic Church Umuaka and Umuezikoha youths for their prayers and support.
On his state of mind, Chief Duruji told Umuaka Times thus; “Today is the happiest day of my life. I have never been so happy especially seeing the large number of guests who attended this occasion today. I thank them very well on behalf of the entire Duruji family.”
On his final prayers, the “birthday boy” said, “I thank everyone who was able to make it to this event today and those who could not make it as well. Those I have forgotten, please bear with me because it has not been easy for me since today. I pray that God will continue to protect you all especially when you will be going home to your various destinations.”
