Chief Victor Esomonu shares birthday message with Akalites, others.

Chief Victor Onyekachi Esomonu, an American based socialite and high profile Akalite marked his birthday last week, precisely on Friday March 18, 2022. Chief Esomonu used the opportunity and reached out to his fellow Akalites, Ndi Igbo and Nigerians in general with a message of hope, peace and unity. Speaking with the American correspondent of Umuaka Times during his birthday celebration last week, Chief Esomonu who holds the chieftaincy title of Kpakpando 1 of Amiyi-Akah and the Ikukuoma of Woji, Rivers State, began his message by greeting the people of Umuaka Municipal Council for their resilience against all odds in Nigeria of today. He thanked all the presidents-general and the royal fathers in the entire 10 autonomous communities that make up Umuaka Municipal Council for their roles in maintaining peace and order in their communities respectively. He appealed to them to continue the good works they are doing to develop Umuaka “because we have no other home except Umuaka.”

On his message to Imo people, Chief Esomonu appealed to the good people of Imo State to always be security conscious and emulate the Anambra type of politics where wise men are elected to the positions of power.

Chief Esomonu who took his message of goodwill to Igbo businessmen also used the opportunity and reminded Igbo businessmen and investors to always bring home their investments. On how to achieve this, Esomonu advised Igbo leaders and businessmen to unite and crush the activities of unknown gunmen who have made businesses, commercial activities and social engagements take the back seat throughout the whole of Southeastern Nigeria.

On the tragic political scenario seen today in Nigeria, he blamed it on the activities of the reckless Nigerian politician. Hear him: “Our present leaders are making the founding fathers of this nation to be turning in their graves in shame. I pray that we will get it right in 2023. My birthday wish is to God to give us God-fearing leaders. Chief Esomonu finally extended his thanks to his wife, Lolo Ifeoma Onyeka (Ugololo) “and my lovely children whom the Lord has blessed me with, you guys are my rock.”
