Chimmuanya Amakodike bags chieftaincy title in Amurie Omanze.
2 min readOn Tuesday 27 August 2024, something big took place at the palace of HRH Eze Charles Nnajiemere of Amurie Omanze in Isu LGA Imo State. On this eventful day, the high profile royal father bestowed a highly prestigious chieftaincy title on one of the illustrious sons of Umuisii Umuezeala Uba Umuaka named Mr Chimmuanya Amakodike in his highly furnished and spacious palace. The Umuezeala Uba Umuaka born youthful politician and businessman was accompanied by a team of friends and business associates who came all the way from Owerri, the capital city of Imo State to share the bliss with him.
When the guests, friends and well-wishers as well as Omurie Omanze Council of Chiefs had gathered at the palace of peace, kola nuts were presented as the tradition demands and in a few minutes time, the royal father made an opening speech and welcomed everyone to his palace. The speech of HRH Eze Charles Nnajiemere officially declared the event open.
In a few minutes’ time, Mr Chimmuanya’s finest hour arrived; his citation was read as he stood out very close to the royal father. After the citation, HRH Eze Charles Nnajiemere of Amurie Omanze, the Ezeudo II crowned the youthful politician, businessman, top community stakeholder, Chimmuanya Amakodike the Anya Ugo 1 of Amurie Omanze.
From that unique moment, Mr Chimmuanya Amakodike officially became Chief Chimmuanya Amakodike, the Anya Ugo 1 of Amurie Omanze. A document Umuaka Times local affairs correspondents came across last week reported that thus: “The ceremony was attended by distinguished representatives of the Umuaka Ancient Kingdom Joint Council of Chiefs, friends, associates, party faithfuls and well-wishers, who gathered to pay their respects and acknowledge the great leader as new title holder.
The document went further: “This prestigious Chieftaincy title is a testament to Hon Chief Chimanya Amakodike’s unwavering dedication and significant contributions to the development of Umuaka, Amurie, Isu, and Njaba at large.”
The concluding part of the document also reads: “In his remarks, Hon Chief Chimanya Amakodike expressed his heartfelt gratitude to HRH Eze Charles Nnajiemere (Ezeudo II) for finding him worthy of the title, while thanking His Royal Majesty, Eze Henry Izuchukwu Ojinnaka (Osinobi IV Of Umuaka Ancient Kingdom), Umuaka Ancient Kingdom Joint Council Of Chiefs, Friends, Associates and Well Wishers. Also, In a special way, Hon Chief Amakodike thanked Hon Chief Engineer Ozioma Worship (Ezengwori Njaba), Hon Obikaeze Anaemem (Njaba SOLAD), while imploring everyone to keep supporting the 3R Government of our performing Governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma (Onwa Oyoko).”
