Chinonso Iwuoha making waves with Afrobeats music.

Watching the musical video clips of Somtochukwu Franklin Iwuoha (Nwadibia), an Uba Umuaka born up and coming music star, held Umuaka Times reporters who met the young chap by chance last week spellbound with his songs.
The 2004 born composer who is a member of the Iwuoha music family told Umuaka Times that it is impossible to separate him from music. The young boy can go for days without food as far as he gets himself busy listening to music and writing his own songs.
The Umuaka Times publisher who hardly listens to the songs of these days due to what he describes as lyrical nakedness and emptiness of such songs took time and listened to the songs composed and arranged by the 19 year old Somtochukwu Franklin Iwuoha who goes by the stage name Klin X. After the encounter, Umuaka Times picked interest in the guy and his talents and booked him for an exclusive interview.
During the interview, Klin X told Umuaka Times that he is a product of Duruji International Secondary School Umuaka where he did his secondary school education. From age 7, Klin started singing in his church parish known as St Charles at Bola Street somewhere in Ajengule Lagos State.
From that time till date, Klin has been improving his skills especially on composing and writing of songs and stage performances. As it stands today, the young music chap has over 25 songs to his credit which he wrote and arranged and each of the songs is highly entertaining.
One good music attribute of Klin is that whenever he holds the microphone to sing, his eyes automatically close just the way Bob Marley, Phil Collins, Peter Tosh and many music superstars would do anytime they were on stage. In the music world, that is regarded as a deep attribute which actually comes from the soul.
Klin X who shares April 24 birthday with two top American singers; Kelly Clarkson and Barbra Streisand also told Umuaka Times that he plays Afrobeats Rap and Pop and writes his own songs by himself. According to him, music will expose him to the world in the next 5 years with the influence of his music idols whom he listed as Borna Boy and 2Face Idibia.
Asked to relate the reactions of his parents to his chosen career, Klint smiled and said, “Very funny. Parents can be dream killers, trying to make you do what you don’t even have in mind, in the sense of giving you their own dreams”.
On the meaning of his stage name Klin X, the songwriter puts it thus: “I derived it from “Fran-klin”. The X there is basically symbolizing neatness both in my sound, dressing and lifestyle. I like to make my things neat. So when next you hear “klin X” note that the neatest boy in town has arrived.”
For now Klin X who told Umuaka Times that he does not drink anything except water is busy learning more vocal skills and trying his best to create a world of his own in music. For good songs, the new kid on the block is really good and what he needs now is simply the connection to rise above the limits. With a good lifestyle of no smoke no drink, Klin X will soon be a star to watch.
