(PDP Clan/Bloc Stakeholders Meeting: A Periscopic Rejoinder.

Compliments of the season my fellow PDP members. This piece of essay became necessary in an attempt to succinctly elucidate the relevance and overwhelming positive impact of the above mantra in adjuvantalizing the much needed hegemony in the Nation’s political ecosystem. According to Plato, the great Ancient Greek philosopher, the founder of the Platonist School of Thought and the Western Political Philosophy, “One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors”.
Early this month, I received a memo in my little capacity as a Leader/Stakeholder in Imo PDP on the need to organize LGA Clan/bloc meetings. I gladly gave my thumbs-up to the state party leadership for such a historic innovation, a development which will be as efficacious as the creation of the chapter executives at the ward level. Politics and grassroots mobilization are two inseparable entities akin to a Siamese/monozygotic/conjoined twins that share the same umbilical cord. This extra effort is far reaching and will catalytically cement the process of galvanization of the party at the ward and LGA level.
It is imperative to mention that despite not being in power, PDP through its innovative and people oriented programs, in the light of growing insecurity, bad governance, hunger and starvation has stamped a seal of authority of selflessness, camaraderie, and purposefulness in the minds of Imolites and Nigerians at large. While eulogizing the party and its apparatchik at State, Zonal and LGA levels for the wonderful work they are doing despite the unfortunate blatant power usurpation of her mandate at the State and Federal levels in the last general election, I sincerely wish to plead with Leaders and Stakeholders who believe that the establishment of the Clan/Bloc meetings will divide the party to please kindly rescind their decision. It’s like a family meeting which is designed by the workaholic party hierarchy to ensure greater bonding at the LGA level having discovered the overriding perennial and cancerous cum cankerwormic narcissism, skullduggery, “shenaniganism”, political megalomania “nnamoharism” , “ibukwuism “and gross impunity , still revolving/lingering monstrously within and around the boarders of the clan/blocs in almost all the LGAs. May the peace of the Lord be with us now and forevermore, Amen!
