Vice Principal’s Address to the P.T.A: Good day, esteemed members of the Parent-Teacher Association, respected parents, and guardians. It is with great pleasure that I stand before you today as the Vice Principal [Administration] of this wonderful institution, Mr. Anyanwu Ik. Bright. We would like to extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you, and express my sincere gratitude for your commitment to the betterment of our school community.
STAFF STRENGHT.
Five months ago, our school staff consisted of 51 qualified professionals dedicated to the academic and personal growth of our students. We are proud to have a diverse team that includes engineers, guardians, Embassadors, Environmental Engineers, lab scientists, pastors, master’s degree holders, and experienced professional teachers. Each member of our staff brings a unique set of skills and experiences, ensuring that we provide a well-rounded education for our children.
SPECIAL CARE PROGRAM:
In our commitment to cater to the diverse needs of our students, we have established a dedicated special care program, where our trained special teachers provide one-on-one daily assistance to those students/pupils who require extra support. This personalized approach is essential in helping every child thrive.
TUTORIALS.
We understand that academic assistance outside of school hours is crucial for many students/pupils. Thus, we are pleased to announce the introduction of school clubs that will function as remedial classes for 2 hours after school, focusing on enhancing and correcting deficient skills in all subjects. Additionally, in response to many parents’ requests, we will be activating private tutoring sessions conducted by qualified tutors for just 10,000 naira per month. This initiative seeks to ensure that every child receives the support they need to excel.
SCHOOL GUARDIAN:
Safety is paramount in our school, and we want to assure you that we have a 24/7 active CCTV surveillance system in place. This system is continuously monitored by our guardians [Security Department] to uphold a secure and nurturing environment for our students/pupils throughout the day.
SCIENCE LABS:
Moreover, our commitment to providing a rich educational experience is reflected in our fully equipped science laboratories for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. These labs are actively utilized by our students to engage in hands-on learning, fostering a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.
MUSIC CLASS:
In our efforts to promote well-rounded development, we have also initiated music classes to enrich our students’ creative talents. Music plays a vital role in nurturing discipline and creativity, and we are excited to see how it enhances the overall learning experience.
ENTREPRENUER SKILLS:
Thinking beyond academics, we have introduced entrepreneurial skills courses such as liquid soap making, baking, bead making, and sewing. We believe that equipping our students with practical skills is essential for building their confidence and preparing them for future opportunities.
SPORTING:
Furthermore, we are committed to promoting physical health and teamwork through sports. We have implemented various sports programs, including an outdoor football court and indoor games like table tennis and scrabble, ensuring that our students have access to diverse sporting activities.
EXCURSION:
An excursion is a short trip or journey undertaken for a specific purpose, often for educational, recreational, or leisure reasons. Excursions are typically organized for a group, such as students, and can involve visiting places of interest such as museums, historical sites, nature reserves, or educational institutions.
