A new movie which promises to bring new thinking and ideas in the Nollywood industry has hit the TV screens across Africa and other digital platforms. The movie which is titled, Dying in Saddle was produced by Mr Tochukwu Praise Ezeorah of Ezeorah Film Production. Umuaka Times gathered that the highly innovative film was shot in three locations in Lagos which include Isheri Osun, Greenfield Estate Agor Palace Way Okota and Yaba, all in Lagos Mainland.

In a brief interview with Umuaka Times, Mr Tochukwu Ezeorah, the producer of the movie and an actor himself, told Umuaka Times that Dying in Saddle was the first film he has produced under his Ezeorah Film Production firm. The young producer and actor used the opportunity to extend his gratitude to those who made Dying in Saddle a reality. “I am deeply grateful to God for the ability to navigate the challenges of producing ‘Dying in Saddle.’ The experience was enriching, thanks to the tireless efforts of the cast and crew.

Ezeorah also acknowledged in a special manner, the contributions of Mr. Emmanuel N. Abonyi, “whose creative direction and co-writing expertise were invaluable.”

Not forgotten in his appreciation notes were Chukwuebuka Kingsley and Miracle Posh Veey, whose willingness to participate, according to him, despite a demanding schedule was sincerely appreciated. “The sound design expertise of Ruben Fegiro significantly enhanced the production. Ezebuike Ceejay, Obinna Ike and numerous others contributed meaningfully to the project’s success. Oliver, your friendship and support were vital, while Emma Chuks’ unwavering faith in my abilities as a producer was crucial. My family’s unwavering love and encouragement were a constant source of strength. I am indebted to each of you.”

While giving an insight about the movie Ezeorah told Umuaka Times that, “Growing up as a teenage boy, my mom and my grandmother cautioned me to exercise discretion in my interactions with women. They were worried sick! This guidance instilled in me a sense of mindfulness, which has since evolved into a deeper understanding that individuals face diverse challenges, including various forms of sexual coercion.”

“Recognizing that many women have experienced or continue to struggle with such coercion, I produced a short film titled “Dying in Saddle”, to raise awareness about this critical issue.”

In his conclusion, the young actor and producer finally disclosed to Umuaka Times that, “As a filmmaker, actor and writer, my objective is to create educational content for our generation. I kindly request your attention as my film will soon be available on YouTube. Dear family, get ready for the “Dying in Saddle” season! Grab some popcorn!”

The film is already being shown on EA Movies TV.
