Egeolu, Osuagwu donate N2m to Umuaka Charity Foundation.

The call by Umuaka Charity Foundation for donations towards her N50 million empowerment program, last week received the sum of 2 million Naira from two illustrious Akalites and philanthropists; Chief Kenneth Ikenna Egeolu, a businessman and a top community leader from Amiyi Akah sent a million Naira to support the Umuaka Charity Foundation program.

Also last week, High Chief Chidi Osuagwu popularly known as Chief Appear who hails from Ibele equally donated N1 million to the foundation and prayed for its success. The two philanthropists in a separate discussion with Umuaka Times appealed to other Akalites to contribute their quotas towards the realization of the set goals of the foundation.

Umuaka Charity Foundation, a few months ago kick started an empowerment program where 100 youths (10 from each village) are expected to be empowered with the sum of N50 million Naira collectively. Already some well to do Akalites have started making donations to the project.

Umuaka Times newspapers uses this opportunity to also call on other Akalites to donate to this noble project.
