Esomonu set to join Labour Party.

American based Akalite, Chief Victor Onyeka Esomonu, the Kpapkandu 1 of Amiyi Akah has indicated his intentions to join the seriously trending Labour Party Imo State chapter any moment from now. Chief Esomonu who hopes to vie for the chairmanship of Njaba LGA, made this known to Umuaka Times when the American based correspondent of Umuaka Times called on him last week.
On why he is interested in Labour Party, Chief Esomonu who is also the Ikukuoma 1 of Woji, Rivers State disclosed that Labour Party following what its presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi has been saying and doing, Labour Party is the only saviour the country has, “at least for now.” It is on this understanding that Chief Esomonu has resolved to join Labour Party.
It can be recalled that Chief Esomonu who has been eager to see Nigeria succeed as a nation, is the founder of Kpakpandu Foundation which has been empowering the needy over the years.
Chief Esomonu used the opportunity and appealed to Akalites to endeavour to collect their PVCs and vote for Peter Obi and other Labour Party candidates within their constituencies.
