Eze Caesar pledges full support for NUPI reconciliation.

The royal father of Umuele Amazano Autonomous Community and the chairman Umuaka Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH Eze Caesar Duruegbusuo has commended the efforts of Mr Iwuaku Iwuchukwu and his group for initiating the peace and reconciliation moves in the community aimed at bringing together, the two factions of New Umuaka Project Initiative, otherwise known as NUPI. For over a period of one year, the Dr Austin Agbahiwe-led NUPI has been battling internal crisis based on accusations and counter accusations involving financial recklessness. The crisis led to a bigger face-off among the group members and NUPI split into two factions.
According to the observations made by Iwuaku, the NUPI crisis has in so many ways retrogressed the pace of social developments in Umuaka. It is this retrogression that has created the intervention put together by Iwuaku, Umuaka Times and other groups and individuals.
Speaking on the need for reconciliation and the restoration of peace in the community, Eze Caesar in a message to Umuaka Times last week, commended the efforts of Mazi Iwuaku and his team for the great patriotic move and pledged his support and the support of the royal fathers in Umuaka Municipal Council towards the intervention. The royal father expressed his deep optimism that the members of the peace and reconciliation committee will achieve its objectives considering the quality of people in the group. He sincerely thanked Iwuaku for his love and unending commitment towards his fatherland Umuaka.
From all indications, the group will swing into action in few days away from now.
