Eze Ken Uzoho bestows chieftaincy title on Obioma Agbere.

HRH Eze Kenjul Uzoho, the royal father of Acharaji Akah Autonomous Community Njaba LGA Imo State yesterday being December 27, 2025 bestowed six chieftaincy titles to six illustrious sons of the community who have distinguished themselves in the community and their chosen careers. The event which attracted several high profile personalities also had in attendance, the royal father of Amiyi Akah Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Francis Ahanotu, Eze Victor Ijeoma of Isiozi Akah and Eze Rufus Anyanwu of Ibele.

Among those who were bestowed with chieftaincy titles during the event was an Umuezeala Emeruo born US based indigene of Acharaji Akah, Mr Alex Obioma Agbare. Agbare was the second person to be bestowed with the prestigious chieftaincy title during the event. Before the event began, everything had been put in motion for the kick-off of the ceremony; some royal fathers had arrived and about 30 minutes later, HRH Eze Kenjul Uzoho of Acharaji Akah arrived at the palace to start the function.
As tradition demands, the audience stood up when the cited the royal father making his way to the palace. After an exchange of greetings, kola nuts were presented and after the usual kola nut rituals, the host royal father prayed and blessed the kola nuts before they were served. The palace secretary went to work immediately and announced the name of the first person to be crowned. The second fellow who was decorated with another chieftaincy title during the event was Mr Alex Obioma Agbere.

When his name was announced to the upper chambers of the palace, he came along with his chieftaincy title regalia. The royal father requested him to go on his kneels to receive the title. The monarch took the chieftaincy cap, staff and other items and made a brief speech. After the speech, he pronounced the Mr Obioma Agbere the Ike Zuo Oke Agu 1 of Acharaji Akah. His lolo who was unavoidably absent during the event was represented by her daughter who received the title on behalf of her mother.
After the chieftaincy installation ceremony of Chief Agbere, he was requested to stand up and he immediately did and had a handshake with the royal father, turned to greet the audience as they all hailed him with his new chieftaincy title name in appreciation of his traditional elevation.

Chief Obioma Agbere after exchanging pleasantries with the people, stepped out of the palace building to take some photographs with his family and friends who came to witness his chieftaincy title elevation. He used the opportunity to thank HRH Eze Kenjul Uzoho, members of Acharaji Council of Chiefs, the people of Umuezeala Emeruo, family and friends and others who through one way or another contributed to the success of the event.
