Eze Victor Ijeoma mourns Miss Duruigbo.
1 min readThe traditional ruler of Isiozi Akah Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Barrister Victor Ijeoma has expressed his shock over the death of Lady Josephine Nwaulari Duruigbo a.k.a. Miss Duruigbo. In an interview with Umuaka Times a couple of days ago,, the traditional ruler who deeply lamented that the community has lost one f its great assets, also asked God to comfort those left behind by the departed.
While speaking with Umuaka Times, the royal father narrated how teachers of the generation of the late Miss Duruigbo took teaching seriously and groomed a crop of highly educated and moral students during their time. The Eze regretted that such class of teachers who were highly motivated and dedicated are nowhere to be found in today’s world.
“Miss Duruigbo was an exceptional teacher, a motivator and one of the women whose parents sent to school in those early days here in Umuaka. By her death, the entire Umuaka community has been thrown into a deep mourning.”
Eze Ijeoma used the opportunity to appeal to the teachers of today to emulate the highly impressive footsteps of the woman who was so much attached to her teaching profession.
