Ezeala: Burial date fixed.

The burial date of the legal icon, academic pundit, quintessential pathfinder, father, grandfather and a high profile community leader, Professor JoL Ezeala has been fixed. According to the funeral communiqué issued last week by the burial committee in association with the Ezeala family, the 83 year old man known as Egbendu and the Golden Voice of Africa would be buried on Friday November 6, 2020 in his ancestral family home in Obinwanne Autonomous Community of old Umuaka community.
Several activities which have been lined up to pay last respect to the legal luminary include, a special high court session in Owerri High Court which will hold on Thursday November 5, 2020. On the same date, there will be a Christian wake keep in the famous Ezeala Royal compound, Obinwanne.
Umuaka Times also gathered that on November 6, 2020, the remains of the late Howard University trained lawyer who was born in 1936 will leave Aladimma Hospital mortuary, Owerri by 7:am for lying in state in the Ezeala Royal compound Obinwanne, while a funeral Mass for the repose of his soul takes place at St Patrick’s Catholic Church Obinwanne by 10 am. His interment which will be private will hold ny 1 pm on the same day.
The funeral activities will come to a climax on Sunday November 8 with a thanksgiving and an outing Mass.
