The burial of Prof JOL Ezeala last week which brought a lot of South East politicians, businessmen and lawyers together ended up creating a temporary unity between members of PDP and APC in Njaba LGA especially.
Umuaka Times observed an exclusive VIP table during the reception at the Unity Primary School Obinwanne which was occupied by Hon Chuma Nnaji, Hon Uju Onwudiwe, Hon Obinna Duruji, Hon Hon Uche Ogbuagu, Hon Nwaobodo Agwubuo, Chief Okey Durugbor and a host of others. On a closer look, the top PDP and APC politicians in other tables also were seen eating and cracking jokes and taking selfies together.
The significance of this is that Prof JOL Ezeala has been even in death, a unifying factor and a total man of peace.
This goes to prove the popular notion that Dr JOL Ezeala was not only a man of peace but a unifying factor among prominent politicians and others in the state.
