Fr Eburuaja receives his Clergyman of the Year Award.

New breed Catholic Rev Father and sports lover, Emmanuel C. Eburuaja on Sunday 19 February 2023 received his Umuaka Times Clergyman of the Year 2022 Award. The event which took place at the premises of College of Nursing Sciences Amaigbo Nwangele was held after the Mass service at St Mary’s Joint Hospital and College of Nursing Sciences in the presence of reverend sisters and the students of the great institution.
The students who trooped out in their high numbers went into deep celebrations the moment the Umuaka Times team announced the award.
While making his speech, Rev Eburuaja wondered why awards keep coming from all corners to his table. He told the congregation that he was yet to see any extraordinary thing he has done because, “I am just living my normal life.”
As the speech went on, rounds of applause interrupted his speech but he went further to describe the awards he has been receiving as setting a high jump for him. He appealed to the students and Catholics in the state and beyond to always remember him in their daily prayers.
Eburuaja thanked the Umuaka Times team and all the people of Umuaka and further described Umuaka as his second home. He promised to continue his good works in any way he can both in and outside Umuaka.
