High Profile Attendance at Mrs Eunice Anugoh’s One Year Remembrance.

The one-year remembrance of the late Nneoma Nwere Ugo Mrs Eunice Anugoh which was held in Amaeze, AmurieO manze, Isu LGA Imo State drew a large crowd of dignitaries to St John’s Anglican Church and later to the country home of Chief Barrister Eddyson Anugoh (Ugwumba) in the same locality in Imo State.

The event, held on January 4, 2026, attracted prominent figures, including Engineer Magnus Agara, a high profile philanthropist and a close friend and brother to Ugwumba. HRH Eze Vincent Ahamefula, and members of 82 Set of High School Umuaka. Top Imo politicians, business leaders, lawyers, and law enforcement officials also turned out to pay their respects.
Following the memorial Mass, Chief Anugoh received condolences from well-wishers and posed for photos with family and friends after the Mass which was held at St John’s Anglican Church Amurie Omanze. Guests then proceeded to his country home, where a grand reception was underway. During the reception, the Ugwumba was seen by Umuaka Times at several intervals giving directives to domestic assistants to ensure that every move went as planned as visitors kept coming from the time the memorial Mass came to an end to the late hours of the evening.

In an interview with Umuaka Times, Chief Anugoh expressed gratitude to those who attended, praying for their safe return home. The event provided an opportunity for friends, family, and community leaders to commiserate with the Anugoh family and wish each other a Happy New Year.
