Highlife King Okwesilieze Praises Umuaka Community.

A popular Imo State based highlife musician and the leader of Okwesilieze Band of Africa, Mazi Okwesilieze Nwaonyeigbo, has expressed his appreciation for the people of Umuaka. In an exclusive interview with Umuaka Times last week during the burial of the late Ezinne Appolonia Malu Okezirim in Umuokere Amiyi community, Okwesilieze described his relationship with the people of Umuaka as “very strong and amazing”.

The musician, whose songs are gaining popularity across the state and beyond, revealed he has been performing in Umuaka for over three years and has befriended many locals. “I love Umuaka people,” he said. “I encourage them to continue living in peace and striving for development in their society.”
