Ikenna Duru donates N1million to Umuaka Charity Foundation.

The brand ambassador representing Umuele Amazano Autonomous Community at the Umuaka Charity Foundation, Chief Ikenna Duru has made a donation of N1million to the Umuaka Municipal Council community based NGO, named Umuaka Charity Foundation. The donation which was announced yesterday being Saturday October 26, 2024 was in connection with the massive empowerment program of the foundation where 100 youths of Umuaka origin will be empowered across Umuaka. Each autonomous community in Umuaka is billed to benefit from the program through her 10 youths who will be shortlisted for the empowerment.
In a message sent to the foundation’s whatsapp group last week, Chief Duru who close confidents address as “Hon. Imperial High Chief Ambassador (Dr) Sir Enyioha Ikenna Fortune Duru”, demonstrated his preparedness to work with the foundation towards the realization of the empowerment program.
The Akunaepuome Gburugburu of Amazano and Enyioha Njaba described the project as laudable and appealed to other Akalites both ambassadors and donors to support the program via their laudable donations. He thanked all who have made different donations for the program and prayed to God to continue to protect and bless them.
Umuaka Charity Foundation some months ago, announced its program to empower 100 youths via agriculture. The program is estimated to cost N50 million.
