Ikwerre High Chief describes late Mrs Phoebe Mbagwu as a godly.
1 min readThe Oha 1 of Ikwerreland, High Chief Tom Alaeri and one of the in-laws of the late Mrs Phoebe Mbagwu, has described his mother in-law as an epitome of a godly person. The High Chief who disclosed to Umuaka Times that his late mother in-law gave him the nickname Onye Eze went further to express confidence that the deceased must have been sitting at the right hand of God from the day she died.
According to Onye Eze, the conclusion was reached after a careful examination of the character of the late Mrs Phoebe Mbagwu and how she took God seriously in all her dealings.
The High Chief appealed to all the persons the death of his mother in-law touched not to cry because the woman in question lived an upright life and treated her fellow humans fairly. He finally appealed to the large families left behind by the woman who was a deacon with the Assemblies of God Church to maintain the legacy she left behind.
