Land dispute: Ezenwa Nwaikpa drags Amiyi community to court.

An Amiyi Akah youth, businessman and a hotelier, Mr Ezenwa Nwaikpa has dragged the Amiyi-Akah Autonomous Community to court over a land dispute in the community. Recall that Ezenwa granted an exclusive interview to newsmen from Umuaka Times in February 2022 where he alleged that the Amiyi Akah community was trespassing on his landed property located in the community.
While holding talks with Mr Odinaka Vincent Egbuchilem, the president general of Amiyi-Akah, a couple of weeks ago, he disclosed to Umuaka Times that Ezenwa had already dragged the community to court over the land dispute.
Late last week, Umuaka Times gathered that the Ezenwa Amiyi case was heading towards another dimension where the two parties may decide to settle out of court and embrace alternative dispute resolution. For now, Umuaka Times gathered that consultations are on top gear on how to establish the most appropriate solution towards resolving the land crisis in the community.
