The people of Amiyi Akah will on Friday December 19 2025, play host to Umuaka, and neighbouring communities in Njaba and Isu LGAs, Imo State, as the burial of late Ezinne Mrs Apollonia Malu Nnozirim takes place on the said date.
According to the burial program released by the family, a Christian wake keep will hold on Thursday, December 18, 2025, by 8pm, at her husband’s compound, Umuokere Amiyi Akah. Funeral procession follows immediately on Friday, December 19, 2025, from Umuguma General Hospital Owerri to Umuokere Amiyi Akah in a motorcade. This will be concluded by lying in State which starts by 8:30am – 9am at her husband’s compound.
Funeral Mass for the repose of the soul of the late Ezinne will hold at St Paul’s Catholic Church Amiyi Akah, from 10am 11:30am. Interment follows immediately by12 midday at her husband’s compound.
Umuaka Times gathered that the bereaved family has fixed her first outing Mass Service on Sunday, December 21, 2025. The time for the Mass is 10am at St Paul’s Catholic Church Amiyi Akah.
The late Ezinne Appolonia Malu Nnozirim (nee Asodike), a devoted CWO member and respected community leader during her time. She passed away at the age 90.
Left to bourn her include her children, grandchildren and a host of other family members and relations.
