Madam Felicia Akojuru marks birthday in grand style.

Last week precisely on Friday 25 August 2023, something highly remarkable took place in the Catholic community of St Joseph’s Parish Ugbele Akah. On this special day, Nneoma Nwere Ugo Mrs Felicia Akojuru marked her birthday at 71 years. The event which was marked with a special Morning Mass at the parish attracted several people especially her fellow women who came from far and near to celebrate with their mother and one of the pillars of Catholic Women Organization in their community.
By the time Umuaka Times reporters arrived at the church, many people, including Umulolo Ugbele women where she hails from were all seated in their special uniforms. Shortly after that, the Mass began and around 8 am, the Mass service came to an end and the celebrations began. After it was officially announced that Nneoma Nwere Ugo Mrs Felicia Akojuru was marking her birthday in the house of God on that day, the congregation clapped and the priest made a brief speech which led to the next segment of the program that is, cutting of the birthday cake.
The priest called out the family relations of the celebrater and they all came out and in the name of Jesus Christ, Nneoma Nwere Ugo Mrs Felicia Akojuru, a retired teacher, a devout Christian mother and a well-positioned women leader in her community, stylishly cut her birthday cake as she turned 71 in good health.
The congregation sang happy birthday song for her and turn by turn, she took pictures with some of her guests. Immediately the photo session was over, the cake was cut in small sizes for the congregation to be served. The celebration then shifted to the family house of the Akojurus for more events and entertainment. It was in the family compound that the women of Umulolo community and other special guests were hosted with a lot to eat and drink.
The Umuaka Times reporters who covered the event spoke to many guests who gave good testimonies about the leadership and motherly role of the famous Nneoma Nwere Ugo Mrs Felicia Akojuru.
