“Making TJ Ehirim a gov. is not a rocket science.”Chidi Obi.
2 min readMr Chidi Obi, a youth activist and a member of Chief TJ Ehirim’s governorship project in Imo State has disclosed that it is not a rocket science to make Chief TJ Ehirim the next governor of Imo State. In his recorded message to Umuaka Times last week, Mr Obi described Chief Ehirim as a game changer and an advocate of positive change.
While lamenting on the murder of Chidiebere Okpara from Obeakpu a couple of weeks ago, Obi told Umuaka Times that if the health system in Imo State was in good shape, the poor boy would not have died. While explaining this point, Obi said; “The reason for this is because Chief Ehirim is into the health system in South Africa as well as an employer of labour in the health sector. He knows the value of life and he has been saving lives all his life. Under his leadership, Umuaka and the state will have excellent hospitals.”
On the youthful age of Chief Ehirim and how many terms he would need to reshape Imo, Obi said; “Chief Ehirim only needs a period of 4 years to change the face of Imo State. It is not someone who is 78 years and above that will change Imo State. It is someone within the age range of youths.”
Obi strongly opposed the idea of recycling Imo politicians among those who have shown no capacity in leadership. He further drew the attention of Imo people to the plight of Imo youths who are scattered around the world in poor countries looking for means of survival and lamented that some of them have died in such countries where they were subjected to read hard times .
In his conclusion, Chidi Obi appealed to the great Imolites to support the political ambition of Chief TJ Ehirim to become the next governor of the state come 2023 so that the state may excel.
